Think!!! Is your visit to the doctor really necessary?

We are currently without a Nurse Practitioner at the surgery, this has led to an increased number of patients requesting a GP appointment.

Please help us by using the telephone triage appointments available daily for urgent problems or even a less urgent telephone consultation can be offered for new/review conditions or maybe visit your local pharmacy for minor ailment advice and treatment. Some medication can be given free of charge under the pharmacy direct scheme.

Please visit your pharmacy for   Acute Constipation, Acute Pain/Headache/Temperature, Bites and Stings, Colds/Flu/Nasal Congestion, Cold Sores, Conjunctivitis, Coughs, Cystitis, Diarrhoea, Hay Fever, Head Lice, Heartburn/Indigestion, Mouth Ulcers, Oral Thrush, Sore Throats, Teething, Threadworm, Vaginal Thrush.  Age restrictions may apply.

If you require a medication review please book this with our in-house pharmacist.

Please note you do not need an appointment for a repeat sick note, simply ‘phone the surgery and we will take all the relevant information.

Thank you.
