Every patient at St Paul’s and Ashfield Medical Centre has a named or usual GP, who is responsible for overseeing and co-ordinating their medical care. You do not always have to consult your named or usual GP, you can consult any GP or other clinician within the practice subject to availability of suitable appointments, although we do recommend that where possible you try to see the same person each time when consulting about the same medical problem or condition. To find out who your named or usual GP is, simply look on your repeat prescription slip if you have regular medicines, or ask next time you contact the surgery. If you would prefer a different named or usual GP than the one allocated, simply let us know and we will make the change for you.
